Church Day (Day 18)

This morning a group of us walked part of the way to church where there was a great sermon.  It was about the difference between a professional minister and a real minister.  As the professional minister views his title as a job with only a certain amount of required hours of "work" while the real minister was constantly trying to grow closer to God and it didn't matter what time of the day a need was to be met, but they would do it anyway.  I in no way could do justice to the sermon, but that was the gist of it.  Another thing that really stuck out to me was how we live our lives and treat others, such as if there is consistency or just every now and then we are kind.  Like when we want something.
After church we all went to McDonald's like normal.  On the way Coasty kept calling me his mother and I feel like he would like it if I kind of took him in and kept him, but unfortunately that is not really a probable idea.  Also, after finishing eating there was a boy who looked rather bored so I decided to teach him arm wrestling and thumb wars.  He definitely had a lot of fun and I saw later on that it definitely caught on throughout the summer.
And of course, Marinica really wanted me to sing.  I was a little confused at why they kept wanting me to sing, but if it makes them happy I see no harm in it.
After leaving the kids Sarah, Rachel, Josh, McKenna and Renee and I walked around for a bit.  We ended up going shopping where I was able to get a couple of pairs of flips flops since my other ones had broken at the orphanage.  Renee and McKenna definitely helped me out with one pair and Rachel or Sara called the other pair I bought.  Then we also shopped for headphones for Josh since his broke.
Then we all went back to the Mather's and Cami made apple muffins, which were super yummy.  Then I helped make schnitzels for supper and we watched Percy Jackson and the Olympians: the Lightning Thief for the Faber's last night before they were to leave.
